Line Editing — $0.016/word
Line editing works at the sentence level—where the emotional hit actually lives.
This is the edit that shapes how your story feels to read. We're looking at rhythm, pacing, word choice, and emotional precision. Does the tension build the way it should? Does the dialogue feel alive? Does every sentence earn its place?
What's included:
Sentence rhythm and flow
Pacing inside scenes and paragraphs
Word choice that stays true to your voice
Filter word reduction for deeper intimacy
Action beats and dialogue grounded and natural
Subtext and emotional resonance
Inline edits and margin notes explaining the why
A reader's instinct applied to every page
Copyediting — $0.012/word
Copyediting works at the technical level—so nothing pulls your reader out of the story.
This is the edit that catches what your eye stopped seeing. Grammar, punctuation, spelling, consistency, continuity. Your character's eyes don't change color halfway through. Your timeline makes sense. Your prose is clean and reader-ready.
What's included:
Grammar, punctuation, and spelling
Sentence structure and clarity
Internal consistency (names, timelines, details)
Continuity checks
Style and formatting consistency throughout
Line Editing + Copyediting — $0.025/word
The full treatment—because some manuscripts need both.
This is two complete passes through your manuscript. First, a full line edit—where we shape the sentences, deepen the emotion, and refine the rhythm. Then, a separate copyediting pass—where we clean up the technical layer and make sure everything is consistent, polished, and reader-ready.
Two passes. Two distinct lenses. One manuscript that's been worked from the inside out.
This is the most thorough edit I offer, and the most efficient way to get your book truly ready.
(Booked together, this saves you $0.003/word compared to booking separately.)

Not sure if we're a good fit? Let me show you before you commit.
Send me your first 1,000 words and I'll edit them—for free—so you can see exactly how I work before we talk about booking. No pressure, no obligation, just a real look at what working together feels like.
Payment Plans — Because Budgets Are Real
A $150 deposit holds your spot in my schedule.
After that, payments of $150–$200 are due on the first of each month until your balance is paid—whatever works for your budget within that range.
And here's the part that matters: I will never hold your manuscript hostage. If your edit is finished and payments are still in progress, you get your book back. Full stop. Trust is part of how I work.
Turnaround time depends on manuscript length—we'll discuss a timeline when you book.
